Pacific Fertility Center Announces Breakthrough in Egg Freezing Technology
PFC has been developing an oocyte vitrification program for the past two years. This program is a part of their ongoing research to develop and implement new services. "Vitrification" refers to a new alternative method for freezing eggs and embryos. A Pacific Fertility Center (PFC) patient, who underwent an embryo transfer with embryos created from vitrified and warmed donor oocytes (eggs), successfully delivered a baby in late October 2007.

Doctor Chenette to Receive Family Building Award from American Fertility Association
Dr. Philip E. Chenette, a Medical Director at Pacific Fertility Center in San Francisco, will be honored, along with five others, with the Family Building Award at the American Fertility Association’s glamorous Kokopelli Ball in New York City on November 5, 2007. Brenda Strong of the cast of Desperate Housewives will present the award.
